Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

At Studio 217, we understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair, protect our team's time, and maintain a high level of professionalism in every service we provide.

1. Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable.
    Deposits secure your date, time, and resources, and ensure we can prepare for your event or project. If your event is canceled, the deposit cannot be returned.

2. Cancellations

  • 7+ Day's Notice: If you cancel more than 7 days before your scheduled service, you may be eligible for a partial refund of any payments made beyond the deposit.

  • Less Than 7 Day's Notice: If you cancel within 7 days of your event, no refund will be issued unless under extenuating circumstances (determined at our discretion).

  • No-Show Policy: Clients who fail to appear or are unreachable at the time of service will forfeit all payments.

3. Rescheduling

  • You may request to reschedule your service with at least 72 hours’ notice. Your deposit will transfer to the new date (subject to availability).

  • Short notice rescheduling (under 72 hours) may incur a fee or require a new deposit.

4. Refunds for Rentals or Equipment

  • Once equipment or rentals have left our facility, refunds will not be issued unless the equipment is proven faulty or unusable upon delivery.

  • Clients are responsible for the care and return of all rented items.

5. Media Production Services (Video, Audio, Photography)

  • Due to the creative and labor-intensive nature of media production, partial refunds may be issued only if the work has not yet begun.

  • If work has already started (e.g., filming, editing, recording), refunds are not available — but we will work with you to revise and resolve any quality issues within reasonable limits.

6. Event Cancellations by Studio 217

  • In rare cases where we must cancel a booking (due to emergencies or circumstances beyond our control), you will receive a full refund, including any deposits.
